Read the room before things escalate. You learn to spot what's changing and who's safe, so you can act before your body decides for you.
Know your move before the moment hits. It's the same at work, at home, in the street or online. The situations change. The pattern doesn't
the bobuSHIFT starts, and where you choose instead of react.
Who This Is For
LGBTQ+ people navigating hostile spaces, discrimination, and microaggressions. People who've been in the moment and didn't know what to do. Allies who want to actually help, not just perform. Anyone tired of "safe space" stickers that vanish when it counts.
What Makes This Different
Most safety solutions are an incident report after it's over. bobu is the practice you put in before you ever need it. We made it ourselves, out of what we've lived. There's no script to follow. You build a pattern you can use anywhere, and the move is always yours.
About bobu
We're Luciana and Nick. We both know what it's like to walk into a room and work out whether it's safe to be ourselves, because we've done it our whole lives. We built bobu out of that, and out of two things we're not willing to let slide. We will not accept safe space stickers on venues and business windows without the training to back them up. We will not accept feeling unsafe to be normalised for people who are targeted simply for who they are. That's why bobu exists. Life is the practice.
